Denise Vasari, founder and self-taught landscape artist, was born and raised on the scenic Connecticut shoreline - a place whose lush and verdant landscape continues to influence her work. Primarily an abstract artist working in oils for the past 25 years, she has also worked in watercolors - a medium which she believes, provides more structure to her compositions. Recently she has begun painting oil landscapes where both her knowledge in watercolor structure and painterly techniques in oil have successfully coalesced.
